About Me

My name is Anne-Marie I am currently 53 years young and am the mum to three amazing grown up children who are now all finding their own way in the world. (phew!)…

I’ve been married to my amazing husband for 33 years and it has been a great adventure for us both.

The picture on the home page of my blog was taken at the airport on the spectacular Isle of Barra in the Outer Hebrides which we were lucky enough to call home for the last 7 years. If you love peace, fresh air and your soul needs a wee recharge it’s definitely worth a visit.

We moved back to mainland Scotland last year after the birth of our grandson and are  delighted to be able to watch him growing up at close hand helping to look after him while his parents are at work.

I fell into papercrafting when my lovely mum, an avid charity card maker, died very suddenly almost 4 years ago and I inherited her ‘crafty stash’. It proved to be a huge comfort for me to spend my spare time surrounded by the craft she loved so much and in a short time I came to love it as much as she did.
